Gulley's - Manatee County

I got there too late to get the Mullet so I settled for the snapper. I have to say, it was pretty dry and bland. No disrespect intended. Today I made sure I got there early enough to get the Smoked Mullet. It's my third time visiting Gulley's and they did not disappoint. That Smoked Mullet is ridiculously delicious. My only question is, does it thaw out well if I freeze it to be eaten at a later date? I definitely recommend going there. The Smoked Mullet and the Mullet Dip are my go to items. Had the Tile fish tacos.They were excellent. Didn’t even mind the lack of hot sauce options.More fresh local seafood options then most seafood restaurants around here.

The place for smoked mullet and crab cakes.Not to mention, great owners.

Love the mullet spread! Can't wait to try more next time around the area.
