Applebee's Grill - Manatee County

My sister and I were hot and tired from shopping the outlets. We were directed to another restaurant for lunch but it was so crowded, so we opted for Applebee's just because it was close. What a nice surprise! Clean comfortable with wonderful service. We asked that our salmon be prepared without the seasoning and the accommodated our request. Food was fresh and delicious. We loved it! Nice lunch

Ordered carside to go. Order was correct and ordering online was easy. Just one problem, I let them know that I was there thru the app and waited a good 8 minutes, got my food home and it was Luke warm. Not a happy camper.

First of all, Jose A gets an A+. Great service from him. Food and hostess, not so great. From the miserable greeting to the overcooked (replaced with undercooked) food, not somewhere I'd go again.Meal was comped, but first impressions are everything.

It seems that Applebee's has stepped it up since I last ate there a few years back up north I was very surprised and please with the sandwich that I ordered.
