Bahay Kubo - Manama

As soon as you submerge your self in this area you start to left behind the big hotels, bars and big malls attraction to find your self in this small piece of the Philippine that is call Bahay Kubo typical Philipino house and inspiration for a Philipino folk song by Felipe Padilla de León . As you enter the first thing you notice is the smell of frying pans and rice, besides the never missing welcoming attitude of the Philipino. Here I was advised to try the pork Belly which is one of the best that I have tried in my life, crispy in the outside layer that is followed by a juicy and tender meat and just to end up with an explosion of flavors in the middle made of a mix of herbs! As they will say delicious sobra!!! To end up with a huge Empacho!!! Thanks to all the staff for this amazing experience!!!!!

This restaurant is absolutely amazing and delicious. The food was cooked perfectly and the crispy pata was on point. We drove all the way from jeddah just to eat at this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and visit because you will not be disappointed.
