Variety of taste, change regularly. Plenty of indoor, outdoor seating, inside and outside bars, convenient access from sky run and lifts, very convenient. Lunch with a view. Just try to avoid lunch crowd, rest early before 11:30. Or late lunch after 1pm. New carving station serving steak and bbq chicken. Big enough to share. Recommended.

Fantastic location for skiers to grab lunch. However, super disappointed to find half the food options closed during the peak of the winter season. The lines are thus really long (for the options left) and the food is just average (for the high price).

The food deserves a rating of 3.5 stars if you're not into skiing or snowboarding. However, if you are a skier or snowboarder, it serves as a fantastic refreshment! My personal favorite is the clam chowder served in a bread bowl—at just $10, it’s a great deal. My only complaint is that they should definitely add Apple Pay. I had an experience where I didn’t have a credit card and ended up waiting about 30 minutes to purchase my food. Thankfully, the cashier was kind enough to let me eat first and pay later. Huge thanks to that person! Also, as of November 26, the Yelp page states that the restaurant is temporarily closed, but I don't believe that's true and it should be updated.

The food and drinks are on the pricey side, and it tends to get quite busy (especially in non-Covid times), so you might have to wait for a table. However, if you're here, it's likely because you're taking a break from skiing or snowboarding in Mammoth, which adds to the experience. McCoy's is conveniently located on the mountain, allowing you to escape the crowded base lodges, which is definitely a nice perk. Another advantage? Skiing down the trails feeling pleasantly buzzed after enjoying a comforting coffee with Kahlua (or two) at McCoy's—because, honestly, it’s just a fantastic way to unwind.

I just had an amazing experience at the outdoor bar with Bartender LoveJoy! The hospitality was exceptional, and the service remained top-notch even during these challenging times of COVID!
