Gomez's Mexican Restaurant

Very terrible experience unfortunately. I and my two friends go to the host to listen to their dispute with a customer who waited the restaurant wasn't much open sitting in dinning and bar area to deal with) as we finish them argue, we asked to sit on the bar and she said it was full as we can see 6-8 open chairs. She finally says they go on and sit. we approach the bar, there were four seats open and an empty glass with a pointed underneath. we asked if someone was still sitting there and the short female bartender with tattoos and a backward hat says: “It was someone sitting there” very loud and with attitude we were all just looking at ourselves and doing nothing of it. we finally sit down and she throws us the menus that almost slip away from the bar, and she just walked away from us. We waited for the service and she just didn't even turn around to see us, so we just got up and left. very disappointing we are tourists who want to visit the opposite to have a few drinks and eat after a long day at work. will not return to this restaurant sad to say it looks like a great place to get some drinks and good food. very disappointed.

It was the birthday dinner of my bf, miguel the server and leslie the hostess tonight, many thanks for the wonderful service and friendliness from her heart when you see that. we will come back to you soon.

It was 9:30, 30 minutes after closing time. all the other places were closed and did not let us in. but gomezes let us in the warm humble comfort restaurant and gave us the freshest churros. I wish there was a sixty star because this place deserves it! highly recommended

The worst Mexican food I've ever had. we had tacos, enchiladas, deceit, tear and buzz. everything was so dreadful and bad tasting that I felt I had to spend this time to leave a review. I'm sorry there's nothing personal about the restaurant. cool inside, great location, but terrible eating.

Okay so food is tasty, great flavors but not spicy. Unless you order the habanero wings! OMG wings are delicious and habanero wings have a nice kick!!! My wife had the the shrimp taco was bomb and the a beef enchilada rice and beans was good as well. Of course we ordered 2 mammoth grande Cadillac margaritas 22oz!!! And they were delicious!!! A + a little pricey but given it Mammoth Mountain and your are probably visiting it makes sense, you're on a vacation trip spending a little more than usual isn't a surprise but you won't be disappointed.The fresh guac and salsa and chips were good no hot kick but flavors were great. Being of Hispanic background I endorse their food and please try their tequila!!!!! If you get Luis as a waiter then even better he was awesome and chill.
