East Star Chinese - Malvern

My favorite dish here is the aubergines with garlic sauce. Unlike many restaurants that overload this dish with a thick, sweet sauce and little else, this place allows for much more nuance. One of the things I appreciate about this dish here is that I can customize it to my liking. Today, I had an absolutely delightful experience. There were a variety of fresh vegetables alongside generous portions of eggplant. I was able to enjoy it hot, and it was just perfect. It wasn’t overly sweet, had a mild salty flavor, and the sauce was exquisite. I am truly grateful for such a heavenly experience. Thank you!
