Snapphane - Malmoe

Visited snapphane for lunch with my wife, without booking a table and we were led to a small suitable table for two. we had the set menu and we both enjoyed eating. the service was ok not very tenting and a place where the restaurant can certainly improve. the price of lunch is absolutely fair compared to the curses we had, and we will certainly return for a second portion.

The food expirience was good, service ok but not up to the standard what I expect for the price level of the restaurant. Wine was marched to the food in a good way. I can recommend to try this restaurant.

Looking at the bill and connecting to Vollmers I did expect more on the food and service

It was not bad, but the food and especially the hospitality could be a lot better. No amuse or extra’s, no follow-up when we gave back remarks on quality of food, no proper welcome and good bye. Staff was not inspired or having fun at all. When you pay an significant amount of money like we did, then you may expect a lot more.

Fair cuisine with very fine presentation. the balance of taste is challenging: earthy elements like peas and mushrooom too raw&earthy. fish was over cooked with rubarb too weak to balance the radish. lamm was fantastic but paired with grassy beetroot... the dessert was a fusion of non distinctive fruitiness with annoyingly raspberry seeds. the oh so smoky service was under average regarding respect and attentiveness we poured our own wine all the evening while he emphasized that it was his job... after the payment we didn’t even deserve a good bye. fairwell.
