Los Caracoles - Maldonado

Wow, 50 years later and the food at this restaurant is still amazing! Don Roberto may not be around as much, but his son is now in charge. The delicious creamy pastas and Provençal mussels are still my favorite dishes.

Los Caracoles is definitely the top restaurant in Punta del Este. If you're only going to eat at one restaurant in the city, make sure it's Los Caracoles. It's a well-run family restaurant with excellent service and perfectly grilled dishes. Don't hesitate, just go!

The dining experience was excellent, with exceptional service. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the authentic Uruguayan cuisine.

Great meal, but they must be hungry in any case not vegetarian

The chicken we ordered was great (Pollo deshuesado c/ papas fritas), but the meat was not that good (Picanha c/ papas fritas). It’s kinda expensive so we were waiting for something amazing and we find it really... normal. The ambient is really good though.
