Southminster Fish - Maldon

Second time we have used this place this week , first time chips were very poor been back today and even worse looks like they have been reheated or old oil ? i have used this place for some time now its had its ups and downs, but been very poor the last few visits wont be going back ,will have to use burnham instead such a shame get your chips sorted .

Old fashion chippy only one in the village the pies are very expensive but the fish is lovely so are the chips

Visit most Fridays alway's good. Curry sauce sausages fish and chips that's what we like . Best chippie on the Dengie

Have been going to this fish and chip shop for over 20 years. Same owner. Consistently delicious. Usually just have cod and chips. Excellent service from the owner.

Often pick up lunch here for my wife and I when I am working from home. Tuesday lunch is reduced price for cod and chips so a bargain. Think this is one if the best as the cod is always good and non greasy and the chips are just as I remember them as a kid. If you are visiting the area a must.
