Yurakuen - Diamond Hotel - Malate

Really nice hotel poolside bar perfect for a cool morning dip or late afternoon swim overlooking the romantic Manila bay sunset. More relaxing atmosphere compared to the busy poolside of Sofitel with great menu line up of pastas, sandwiches, pizzas and salads. But they're a bit over prized especially with their juices. Pizza combo for 3-4 worth >3k and an orange juice worth almost a ninoy. Besides, you wouldn't be craving for snacks after a hearty am and pm buffet when you're checked in the hotel and more if you get their unlimited cocktail at the sky lounge. Nevertheless, still a great experience.

I ordered 2 quantities of their Tea Time Indulgence. Ambience is good, coffee and tea are just okay. The set of pastries does not match as advertised in their website. Their teatime set is supposed to be good for two, but some of the pastries were served in singles. In the website tea time was 2-6pm, but on the hotel ad, tea time was only 2-4pm. Good thing we got here a little past 3pm. Not recommended.

The Cake Club of Diamond Hotel - Still for me has the best ensyamada in town, growing with it so feeling nostalgic while looking at the melted cheese on a vee gewey bun. The Ice Creams are good too suprised that it was only for 100 per scoop that's cheap for hotel price.

Diamond Hotel is one of the famous hotels in Manila facing the Manila Bay. It has a Lobby lounge which offers different cuisines that you will definitely enjoy. The excellent food choices are complemented by impressive service of their staff and attendants. The Lobby lounge has a delightful and luxurious ambiance which is ideal not only for business meeting but also for casual and leisure dining with friends. Definitely worth a visit!

Their ensaymada is the best ever! Really! Chicken caesar is good too. I like the ambiance coz it's quiet, but not the deafening silence type. There's the hotel lobby background music playing. Perfect for business meetings or 'Me time'.
