Phillypinas: The Artisanal Cheesesteak

One of the best sandwich places I've ever been to! The location — The location is honestly not that hard to find if you'll just walk from Vito Cruz. A big NO NO is taking an Uber or Grab to the place because the streets leading to it are narrow and shady to the point that the driver will ask if they can just drop you off elsewhere. I suggest you walk. It's a few blocks away from Jollibee in Vito Cruz, just make sure to be vigilant of their sign. The ambiance — their ambiance is actually good, we were the first customers who arrived so we had the place to ourselves. However, since we are the first ones the AC wasn't turned on yet. It was quite hot for a while. The food — Their cheesesteaks are 9 inches long so unless you can down all of that without regrets then I suggest you go on halfsies with the person you're with. My best friend and I shared this sandwich and we were still full afterwards. We had onion rings and buffalo wings on the side. The onion rings were good and not battered to the point of no return. It's just a light batter that even coats the onions. The buffalo wings aren't that special. Typical wings. Value for money — 4.5/5 Its all worth it! The staff— Now this is the only problem I've encountered, the staff are quite unprofessional. They kept on horsing around with each other that it became distracting. Friendly nevertheless. 9/10 would go back again.

A little bit hidden when compared to the other restos around Taft, but once you find it, you won't regret it. A little bit cozy on the first floor but they do offer a second floor, and their interior decoration is attractive to those who find simplicity as eye-catching. They don't have much on the menu and their prices are a bit steep, but if you have extra for this, just go for it. The cheesesteak takes a bit of finding its kick, but the more you have it, the more you get to appreciate it. You should try their nachos.. For real! ???????? They serve it in generous amount and it is full of sauce and other toppings too. I hope they won't change their nachos

The ambiance was good, quiet and relaxing. I love the fact that they have outlets/plugs to charge your gadgets. The food was okay (not great though, just okay). I ordered the original philly cheese steak and it tasted like Igado (idk if anyone knows this dish). This is actually the first cheese steak that I tasted and I did not expect that it would taste like Igado. It did not suit my taste, to he honest but Idk maybe it's just me. We have different tastes after all. The onion rings and fries was so-so. What I like here is the nachos (We ordered sour cream and onion flavor) and their fruit shake. Original Philly Cheese Steak - 2/5 (reasons: bc its pricey and i personally did not like the taste) Onion Rings - 3/5 (bc it was quite hard. Maybe they overcooked it) Fries - 4/5 Fruit shake - 4/5 Sour cream nachos - 5/5 Ambiance - 4/5 (bc it was quite hot)
