Bidrage med feedbackThis is the first time we have had a chance to stop in after driving past for a couple of years on Hwy #3. Glad we finally did. Ordered the quesadilla to go. Much like a sub shop, the filling is added to your liking at the lunch counter (note- this is a take-out place, there is nowhere to sit inside to eat). Food was grilled beautifully, just a little char on the outside and melty inside. I noticed an order ahead and pick-up area was available too, which we will definitely use next time we are driving through the area. The grocery store carries a bunch of great import items too. I would seriously recommend this place to Mexican food fans. Everyone was following safety protocols and wearing masks when I was in the store.
I typically buy 3 or 4 at a time and cut them in half and make a mini meal out of them. $3.95 a piece vegetarian or $4.95 with meat at Mennomex and you have to order ahead since the Virus. Probably one of the best deals in town. Beans eggs rice potatoe tomatoe onion fried jalapenos cilantro salsa a squeeze of lime.
We drive a fair distance to shop the selection of Mexican groceries and enjoy a meal. The grocery section has a variety of hard-to-find items as well as family packs of Mexican treats. The lunch counter offers up tacos, quesadillas, and burritos at a reasonable price. The tamales alone are worth the drive!
This is an interesting store and restaurant. Today was burger day. I was hoping for some Mexican food. I will just have to go again.
We are regular customers of this Mexican kitchen. It's located in the back of the store and is primarily take-out although they do have a couple of pub style tables chairs. They have daily lunch specials and dinner menu on the weekend. Great food great service. BEST burritos !!!
