La Ristobottega - Málaga

As we drank our overpriced thin wine and ate our cheap but not very good tapas, I remembered that I had not checked the reviews of this place on Tripadvisor. A mistake. Unless you enjoy being exploited, it is best to avoid this place which does not deserve one star.

Do not go here!!! Be aware that this place is a complete rip off…the waiters should be dressed as Dick Turpin!!!! They lure you in thinking you’re getting a good deal with tapas for €2.50 and then absolutely rob you when it comes to drinks…€2.50 for tapas was fine, the portions were small but for €2.50 we didn’t expect much but when the bill came we realised we’d been well and truly ripped off…almost €4 for a small bottle of Fanta lemon and almost €6 for a large or rather not so large beer!!! I wish I’d saw the reviews before we went but we had just spent 1 1/2 hours at Alcazaba and we just wanted somewhere close to get something to eat and drink.

Lots of negative reviews but I thought it was ok. Yes it is a tourist trap but when older American tourists from the cruise ships hog a table just for a coke the premises are not making money. I found the experience quite relaxed great for people watching, wine wasn’t brilliant but still cheaper than back at home. Servers were courteous, friendly and spoke English. Yep it was ok.

Nothing special or in service or in food. good products, but the letter a little confusing.

Súper rico, muy bonito lugar, pequeño pero suficiente. Muy buen trato.
