Barenostrum - Málaga

We are English speaking, nobody made us feel welcomed at all. Service was quick, but the food was really very cold, we need to send it back immediately to be warmed up. Portions of food was small and looked like frozen fish portions warmed up. We needed to call to waiter to bring us the bill. Really not a good experience at all, we definitely pass this Restaurant in future!

Everyone likes a bargain and you can certainly find one here. Tea/coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, a bocadillon or bread roll filled with butter, marmalade or the traditional tomato and olive oil all for the price of 2.50 euros A hot breakfast of Spanish tortilla costs very little extra. The bar is clean, trendy and very light and airy with covered patio and outside terrace overlooking the wide tree lined promenade with beautiful sea views. You can even watch the big ocean liners slowly sailing in to dock in Malaga Harbour. The staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. A delightful place to while away the time and excellent value for money.

Desayunos muy normales para lo que cobran, no esperes mucha simpatía de los empleados.

La ubicación es excelente, justo frente a la playa y la Torre Mónica. Hace algunos años se podía ir a desayunar huevos revueltos con bacon y estaban deliciosos. Ahora la comida es regular; las crepes son muy finas y secas, al igual que otros platos, que saben un poco a refrito/recalentado (no parecen del día). Eso sí, el personal es muy amable siempre y los mojitos están muy ricos.
