This quant local place was the perfect end to my afternoon in Makawao. Ohana Island Grindz mini plate of Shoyu Chicken was the best Shoyu chicken I’ve ever had. I was mad I didn’t have leftovers.If you want to experience local Hawaiian food, affordable prices, and a wonderful family owned restaurant, Ohana Island Grindz is the place to go!!!

Ohana Island Grindz is absolutely amazing. The food is a great price and always super tasty. Went in for a breakfast panini and asked for a little pup cup for my puppy.Panini was super tasty! And for the pup cup they even put some bacon in there.They are always so kind and really care for you. Definitely recommend!

It is not a fancy place, but food and service was good. I had the brisket and it was excellent with large serving. It is half take out service. A little different as they serve you with plastic forks and paper plates. It more like a deli in that sense. Overall though, it was very good.
