Bidrage med feedbackAlthough I do not frequent this part of Makati, I'm glad I discovered this restaurant to make my visits more often. The taste of the ramen is not too salty and the pork was tender. I wished it was located at a better spot though.
Guys do yourselves a favor. If you ever stumble upon this “Japanese Restaurant”, just keep walking and go elsewhere. This is from my very own experience and first impression lasts. Looks can be very deceiving. So I was wanting a decent lunch this Sunday (April 02, 2017) and I saw this restaurant. I was actually very excited when I saw this restaurant. I looked at the menu first because I only want a quick lunch. So I finally decided to give this restaurant a go, and ordered the Beef Gyudon. The price of this item is 280 PHP. When they brought my order I was shocked and disappointed. I thought to myself, this is what I am getting for a 280 PHP bowl of Beef Gyudon? There was barely any beef in that bowl and it is very oily. Basically it's an Onion Gyudon because it's mostly onion. Out of courtesy I ate the thing but I ended up ordering an order of Gyoza because there was hardly any meat in that bowl of disappointment. I thought to myself, I should just ordered the Gyoza and a bowl of rice instead. When the Gyoza arrived, I told the waitress why I have to order the Gyoza and she was like, Oh the beef was just sliced really thinly. The Gyoza was actually pretty decent for its price (120 PHP). All in all, I am hugely disappointed and I will never come back to that sorry excuse of a Japanese restaurant. Service sucked big time too. If you want to know what regret taste and look like, go ahead and try this "Japanese" restaurant.
When we went here it was just me and my friends we had the resto all to ourselves.. My friends has been coming here for awhile because they love the ramen here its their favorite Japanese Ramen house at Little Tokyo so they brought me here knowing full well I love ramen as well. I love ramen but spicy ramen is life. so I opted for the usual best seller ramen but its not spicy so I had to put chili powder but it still tasted fine... Jean Andrea Barredo
Ok. not bad, not good. i like their homemade noodle. but the broth, i think its instant broth and added some ingredients. but the taste is really "yokohama-ie- kei(家系)" taste. like yoshimuraya. if you want to try yokohama ie kei ramen, you can taste it.
Yoshida Seimen is in a building where seemingly all of the adjacent restaurants are Japanese. We decided to eat here, though, because they had a 20% discount promo going on. The interiors were clean and the ambiance was relaxed and cozy. We ordered miso ramen and chicken curry. The ramen was full of stuff like corn kernels and mushrooms, but it had too little soup! The soup is the heart of the ramen. On the other hand, the chicken curry was delicious, prepared just the way I like it with an abundance of delicious sauce.
