Oliva - Makarska

The Oliva is right by the sea and it is a really nice location. I had the burger, which was bland, like warm and the patty was so soft it soon started to fall apart. We waited way too long for this result. Omni partner not too happy as well. I kind of whish I would habe just gone with the foccacia now. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-30

Food was ok and the vegan options were clearly labelled in the menu. Friendly staff and nice location close to the beach.

Restaurant offers a few vegan dishes: burger with fries, salad with chickpeas, burrito (veggies and chickpeas) with fries and focaccia with hummus. We 've tried the burger. Bun was covered with butter so the burger wasn 't completely vegan, although it was stated it is. We aren 't what people consider as military vegans and we were veeery hungry so we didn 't return it. Burger was O.K., but it was kind of dry and the pattie was small. We loved the vegan mayo that came with fries and the staff was very kind and friendly. I gave 4 stars because we were happy to visit a place that offers vegan food in Makarska, but the food didn 't deserve more then 3. At this point, they 're closed for the season. Restaurant offers a few vegan dishes: burger with fritten, salat with kichererbsen, Burrito-Veggies and kichererbsen with fritten and focaccia with hummus. we tried the burger. bun was covered with butter so that the burger was not completely vegan, although it was stated it is. we are not what people consider to be a military vegan and we were veeery hungry so we did not return. burger was O.K., but it was kind of dry and the pattie was small. we loved the vegan mayo that came with riders and the staff was very friendly and friendly.
