Bistro Demeure and Cafe - Maitland

Had brunch here with friends. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, good quality and very reasonably priced. Coffee (Peaberry's) was amazing. Just the sort of place Maitland needs. Can't wait to go back for many more brunches and to sample the dinner menu.

Went to Bistro Demeure with the family for lunch. Service was very very slow. Staff were somewhat disinterested in the customers. Food itself was good though. Street parking down the road. Restaurant decor was tired but clean enough. Not sure I would ever eat there again though, unless I was happy to wait a long time for a meal.

Had lunch here with my daughter and was pleasantly surprised. I have almost come to expect Maitland cafés to have slow and miserable service, so this was a revelation. Cheerful, efficient, lovely food and great value. I've since spoken with somebody else who has been here a few times and is equally impressed. Recommended.

Had a lovely relaxed lunch here on the Sunday of the June long weekend. The menu had something for everyone. The chicken burgers were a great hit with the teenagers and the all day breakfast is huge! The service was friendly and attentive. As it was a birthday celebration the kitchen presented our cake beautifully with no extra "cake-age" charge. We were seated inside but there is also an outside area which looked comfy. I believe the space was formerly a hair salon and there is still an odd hand basin in the eating area? Perhaps their fitout is not complete. The prices were very reasonable, in fact I think they probably undercharge for the quality of the food.Thoroughly recommended for a relaxed meal or coffee and cake.

I love coming to this restaurant! If you're in search of a very greasy breakfast, this is not the place for you.
