Bidrage med feedbackLove eating here. Great service combined with quality asian food to satisfy the tastebuds. Always nice on a cold winters evening.
Great little takeaway/dine-in restaurant. Family business. Friendly staff. Meals are always fresh and hot. Licenced and have a good variety on the menu.
We were grateful that they were open over Easter, and we found that most of the main dishes were reasonably priced, ranging from $13-$15. We ordered a variety of dishes including fried rice, tom yum soup, salt & pepper squid, and beef with chili & garlic. The fried rice was the standout dish, filled with flavor. The tom yum soup was tasty but could have been spicier. The beef dish was good, but unfortunately, the salt & pepper squid was a bit disappointing as it didn't have much salt & pepper flavor. Overall, the food was flavorful and affordable, so we would consider eating here again, maybe opting for takeaway so we can enjoy our own music at home.
Visiting Maitland for work and to see our niece perform at the rep theatre we wanted to have a quick bite before the show and the A & A was close. The newly decorated restaurant was nice but what is it with not having the heating on in country NSW restaurants? Made of hardy stuff but we had to ask for the A/C to be put on... Food was good and simple Chinese but as soon as we arrived on went the CD player and we were serenaded to the whole production of Swan Lake for our time there and we were the only dine-in clients. Don't mind a little high-brow but Tchaikovsky and Chinese just didn't quite work, although caused a few giggles during some of the serious crescendos
This restaurant is a quirky little spot that has recently been renovated with typical Asian decor. During our visit, we were the only customers dining in, as most people were ordering takeaway. As mentioned by another reviewer, classical music started playing immediately, adding to the unique atmosphere. I appreciated that they were open over Easter. The prices for most main dishes were reasonable. We tried a variety of dishes including fried rice, tom yum soup, salt and pepper squid, and beef with chili garlic. The fried rice was the standout dish, while the tom yum soup lacked some spiciness but was flavorful. The beef dish was good, but the salt and pepper squid was disappointing as it lacked the advertised flavor. Overall, the food was tasty and affordable, so we may consider dining here again or opting for takeaway with our own choice of music at home.
