Teak Neighborhood Grill - Maitland

I went with my family of 4 and another family of 3. We got seated right away, the waiter brought us water and took our drink orders and let us know the kitchen was running behind. We got our drinks in a few minutes and the waiter said she would be back after getting drinks for a 14 top, but then she turned around and asked if we were ready to order so we did. 45 minutes after we ordered she stopped by while half of us were outside and my son cancelled the salad he ordered with the drinks because it had not come out yet. 30 minutes after that she came back and got us drinks and refills. Then 15 more minutes the food came out, it was good and hot no problems with that. When we got the checks they added 18% gratuity to them even though on the menu it said gratuity would be added to parties of 8 or more and we were only 7. This was my experience the first and probably last time I will go there, it was a Saturday night and it wasn’t even full, maybe a little more than half full.

Nice waitress. The food was ok. The price was decent. The wait time was pretty long.

Went here with a large group. We did not plan ahead and still the service was great. The food and drinks did not disappoint.

Service was very slow both times I’ve been. You need to plan to be there for a few hours, if you go. Food was eh. Weird flavors in the sauces and lots of uncooked/overcooked foods. The vibe of the place is cool, but it’s not worth the price or the time. Parking: Parking is limited and small in space. You will be walking from your spot to the restaurant.

Really disappointed in our dining experience today. We all know it’s ridiculously expensive to go out to eat these days but we wanted to go somewhere after church to celebrate an occasion. Our server, Iylah, took way too long to take our order, then it took the food over 30 minutes to come out. My husbands French fries were absolutely soaked in oil and inedible. All 6 of us sat there the majority of the meal with zero water my husband had to end up going to the bar to ask for water. Then when we wanted the check she was still nowhere to be found, we eventually had to get up again and ask for the check and a few minutes later we see our server roller silverware instead of bringing our check. It’s so disappointing spending money and time somewhere that is an absolute waste. The restaurant was not busy enough for bad service and a ticket time that long. This will most likely be our last time going here.
