Pausenkult Ur - Mainz

This little gem is a block over from the main drag in Mainz, a block northwest of the Gutenbergplatz, on the back side of the Stadttheatre. They serve coffee, sandwiches, and cakes and pastries, and it’s an ideal stop for a leisurely chat with friends, a quick lunch, or an afternoon coffee kuchen break. The sandwiches are large enough to split between two people. We had the cranberry, apple, and Camembert on a fresh-baked focaccia roll, and it was delicious! Service was extremely pleasant. We’ll be back.
