Have gone to this pub over the years for drinks and food. Picked here for lunch. A friendly waitress seated us and took our drinks order. A comprehensive menu to peruse. We decided on supreme chicken and roast beef My wife loved the chicken dish. I am not a tomato fan and for me I didn 't like the tomato sauce accompanying the dish. I had the beef. It was a large dish of food which suited me as I was hungry. Mashed potatoes were nice. The roast potatoes were done in a deep fryer, some were al dente in the middle. Two big slices of beef which was slightly tough. The Yorkshire pudding came on the bottom of the dish under all the food like a pancake which got soggy in the middle. Overall the dishes were lovely presented. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely come back to try other dishes. Have to say the pint of guinness was very good.
