Well how disappointing to be charged more money for less choice. Before you had a lovely table laid out with fresh prawns, roll mops, selection of pate's, Egg Mayonnaise to name but a few things...... Now prawn cocktail ha ha is in plastic pots what...

The staff received us and took us directly to the table. The waitress we had was very attentive.

We went to Grill Verve for New Year's Eve, two other events at the same time, but so well organized and a lot of staff waiting, the service was excellent food was good and allergies well attended. Disco was in the center of the restaurant everyone could easily move

We enjoyed this last year and I look forward to another great time with our friends. We booked a table for 5 pm, however, we were very disappointed with the experience in general. The food was terrible, the appetizers were fine, but there is not much to choose from and the tasteless shrimp cocktails. The main food was poor. The choice of limited turkey meat, ham and very difficult meat. Vegetables selection seemed to have been there all day, carrots shrivelled up, cauliflower so difficult could not be served and filling balls so dry that they could have been used as golf balls! We ordered a little more and I'm sure the waiter took and returned with the same tray. The desserts were limited hot apple pie and it was a special order along with the cold flan. Finally, the ordered coffee was the same level of quality, as was the disgusting food.

I was really looking forward to returning to the carvery . What a let down , so sad almost everything has changed . The food was tasteless and poorly presented . Very limited choice of starters and desserts compared to previous visits . The main wasn't good , mashed potatoes were cold, parsnips were stringy, stuffing balls were brick hard , Yorkshire pudding looked burnt and was inedible , other veg tasteless , didn't put the carrots on my plate as they looked so bad , ham was caked in mustard which doesn't appeal to all pallets !
