I couldn't eat the sausage as it was ice cold. It wasn't even slightly warm, as if it hadn't been cooked. The chips, fish, and kids meal were all okay though.

This is the worst takeout I've had in years, I will not be ordering from here again. The fish was extremely overcooked, just a greasy shell of batter. I actually had to throw it away, and I can still taste the grease.

Our preferred chippy. Super value well cooked fish with nice chips. Beware portions are generous haddock overhangs plate and cod thick and tasty and we share chips. Batter NEVER thick greasy. They even managed a large party order for 70 delivered on time with not one complaint from guests. They will take skin off your cod if you want.

I ordered by phone as I have done several times before, but this time I was ignored by the staff at the restaurant. Despite arriving on time, I was not acknowledged or offered any service as the staff seemed preoccupied with Just Eat and Deliveroo orders. After waiting over 20 minutes past the time my order was supposed to be ready, I was told that I should have announced my arrival, even though no one had made eye contact with me the entire time I was there. Feeling unappreciated as a customer, I decided to leave and went to Marino's on A20 Bearsted instead, where I was served promptly with a smile and enjoyed better food in my opinion. I will not be returning to this chip shop again.
