Four of us stopped for late lunch today in Lavos, we ordered our meals, our food was excellent, great food , great service at a great price. Would recommend to all.

All the days we stayed in Costa de Lavos we have eaten the dinners in this restaurant. It was very good food and friendly stuff serving it.

Found this place on 'Tripadvisor ' and went for an evening meal. Delighted to find that other posts were highly accurate. Quality has been maintained and more surprising the price was still €11. Quiet night and were served by ?the owner, a very pleasant and helpful lady.

Wir haben dies versehentlich bei einem Besuch in praia de lavos entdeckt und sind seit dem fünften Mal da. das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. der Brot ist mit der Knoblauchbutter und den Oliven sehr lecker. alles, was wir bisher gegessen haben, Fleisch und Fisch hat uns gut geschmeckt. Wir mögen die Suppe vor, es schmeckt immer gut für uns, auch dass eine Auswahl an Dessert auf dem Tablet serviert wird. wir fühlen uns dort sehr wohl, weil die Besitzer und der Service immer kümmern uns so warm und freundlich. wir sitzen immer im Wintergarten, im Restaurant, wie wir unsere Bars haben. wir werden immer kommen und können das Restaurant empfehlen. Descobrimo-lo por acaso durante uma visita à praia de lavos e estivemos lá pela quinta vez desde então. a relação preço-qualidade é muito boa. o pão é extremamente saboroso com a manteiga de alho e as azeitonas. tudo o que comemos até agora, carne e peixe tem sido bom. gostamos da sopa , sabe sempre bem para nós, também que há uma selecção de sobremesas servidas na bandeja Sentimo-nos lá muito confortáveis porque os proprietários e os empregados de mesa cuidam sempre de nós de uma forma tão calorvelosa Sentamo-nos sempre no anexo do restaurante, porque temos connosco o nosso cão borzoi, to galgo russo. voltaremos sempre e podemos recomendar vivamente o restaurante.

We were on our way south in a campervan and stopped for the night in the aire on the outskirts of the village. We were pleasantly surprised to find this local restaurant and after reading about it on this website decided to give it a go. What can I say that hasn't already been said? If you want an authentic Portuguese meal then this is the place to visit. It's extremely good value and tasty. For €11 a head we had a large bowl of meat and vegetable soup followed by roast chicken and rice, a choice of desserts, 1/4 litre of red wine each and coffee. Also on the table was a basket of olives and homemade garlic butter to accompany the warm bread. At the end of the meal we got chatting to the very friendly English speaking owner who insisted on us having a grappa my husband and port for me. I asked him if he allowed dogs in the restaurant as we had left ours in the van. He said well behaved dogs were welcome which is another good reason why we will be returning the next time we travel this way. I highly recommend this restaurant.
