Malheiro - Maia

The website shows the restaurant opens at 7:00 but in opened at 7:30 per staff. I was solo the first one in line to be sitting however when my waiter opened the door he escorted a local family of 5 to their table ignoring me. I was eventually sitting and the waiter, who had a bad attitude, did not come back to my table until I had to flag him down for service. I did note while I was waiting patiently at my table other locals who were being attended to by taking their drink order laughing with staff. Another couple sitting next to me from London were treated the same way. We exchanged conversation about our lack of service. I ordered the Grilled Cod it was too salty. Don’t order this dish. Btw the appetizer is taken away from the table prior to your meal arriving. When I requested the the waiter ignored my request at which point I walked up to the cashiers desk and had to pay with the manager. I told him of my experience all he said was I sorry smile. I would not not recommend or go back.

International Bancomat not avcepted. Only portugues. Very bad. O Fernando nearby accept all kind of payments. Very bad for a restaurant near the International airport. If it is their policy, very well, but I will never return. Service very confusing and not organized. Fodd very good.

We were encouraged to visit this restaurant by our host at the hotel. We were only there overnight before our trip home. We arrived just as they opened for dinner It was a very homey place and there were only a few people there. As we decided on our meal the restaurant steadily filled up and was full by the time we left. Very comfortable setting and the food was very good. I had the roast veal and my wife had a baked fish and potato dish (may have been sole)

Perfeito para jantares de grupo que querem comer bem e divertirem-se ao mesmo tempo. As entradas típicas estavam muito boas, o bacalhau e a vitela bem servidos e com ótimo sabor e as sobremesas sabiam a caseiro. Ambiente acolhedor com música ao vivo e karaoke. Para repetir ! Very poor service, lack of professionalism, very poor food, a table of ten people sees three platters, each platter for three people and the tenth one doesn't eat this cod and veal, they only see one platter and whoever wants to get away with it. Not to mention the sweet dessert with little fruit, anyway. €35 is a steal for the service they present. Have pity.
