Since the traffic flow on the A5 greatly reduced the speed, we actually wanted to feed something to Lahr, but after the circumstances we already made a departure. On the B3 Rtg. Lahr we discovered on the left when we were standing on a red pedestrian ramp, the Steak House Dubrovnik. Immediately we agreed, as there was also a terasse available, to return there at just about 26 degrees. Private parking is available next to the restaurant or directly in front of the restaurant. We were skeptical if this place was opened shortly after 2:00, because there was no car or bicycle and there was no single guest to see. To our admiration there was a great turmoil on the door, today open from 12 a.m. to 12 a.m. So a few steps to the partially covered terrace and have chosen us directly a table with sunlight. The terrarium and the building are mainly equipped with wood and make a good impression. The wooden tables were all covered in the middle with a white fabric runner or an elongated white tablecloth runner and provided with the simple pepper salt shaker. The restaurant also looked very well maintained and good, but it seemed slightly dark inside. The toilets were also very clean (but only visited by my two companions). There is also a wine room with 50 seats. Service order: After we came for about 4 minutes, a very nice waiter came and greeted us and gave us the menus that consisted of two DIN A3 pages. On the menu were some soups, salads, small delicacies, supplements, four vegetarian dishes, some steaks, 12 rustic international dishes, four fish dishes, 5 Croatian grill dishes, 3 different slinging plates of 2 people, as well as a few children's dishes. Further possible additives are indicated at the end 13. The waiter would have earned 4 stars, but a statement from him (so later it made me around only 3 stars. 1 beer 0.4l for 3,40€ and 2 Radler Alster 0.4l for 3,40€ each. There was no beer brand in the map, Ganter was on the glasses. Beverages were served in a well-tempered manner. The waiter was not a word box and spoke. Order 2x Cevapcici for 9,90€, including 1x without Djuwet carpentry and for the lady 1x estate carving for 11,90€. A reordering on salad was not a problem and was also carried out to our satisfaction. The salad was served quickly and consisted mainly of green salad, carrot tomatoes etc. The dressing, a kind of herbal dressing was very delicious and refined with onions. If it wasn't done, it was definitely refined and tasted good for all of us. In the background you heard from the kitchen how the carving was beaten. The Cevapcici plates were quite clear from the portions. There were 6 absolutely identical looking quite small, but still tasty Cevapcici, with pleasant Knofinote (I will go very strongly of TK Merchandise from , Pommes Frites with colorful pommes salt, which would only have needed 2 minutes, this was still very sleepy (which can also arise if the oil in the frit is not yet hot enough and with me still hot, hot and hot. The amount of frits in the plate without the Djuwet scream was not really bigger. Different onions. In the menu, the farm carving was called crispy pork with mushrooms in cream sauce with roast potatoes. The carving with the sauce had a normal size and the lady tasted quite well in our round. The roast potatoes with bacon were also very pale in their opinion, they could have been heated in the microwave. With much benevolence and fresh salad I rounded it up to 2.5 stars at dinner. No one of us was really tired so there was a short stop in the area for a dessert. The waiter asked if he had tasted us. When my acquaintance told him that the Pommes Frites were a little laff and needed something else, the answer came: Some guests are cheated and others stop laughing and went away with the plates. Criticism must not be expressed here. Also here are unfortunately only very generous 3 stars for the operation. The bill was quickly brought to us. Unfortunately there was no more typical baggage (whether it was about criticism?????) We wanted a nice Sunday and a good home trip. Allgemein: Rückfahrt aus Italien und der Hunger quälte die Dame. Italienisch gab es jetzt 8 Tage lang, somit sollte es etwas Fleisch sein. Da der Verkehrsfluß auf der A5 die Geschwindigkeit stark verringerte, wollten wir eigentlich nach Lahr um dort etwas zu speisen, doch den Umständen entsprechend, nahmen wir bereits eine Abfahrt zuvor. Auf der B3 Rtg. Lahr entdeckten wir auf der linken Seite, als wir an einer roten Fußgängerampel standen, dass Steak House Dubrovnik. Sofort waren wir uns einig, da auch eine Terasse zur Verfügung stand, bei knapp 26 Grad dort einzukehren. Eigene Parkplätze gibt es rechts neben dem Restaurant oder einfach vor dem Lokal. Wir waren skeptisch, ob dieses Lokal kurz nach 14 Uhr geöffnet sei, da dort nicht ein Auto oder Fahrrad stand und kein einziger Gast zu sehen war. Zu unserer Verwunderung stand vor der Tür ein großer Aufsteller, heute durchgehend von 12.00 Uhr bis 22.00 Uhr geöffnet. Somit ein paar Stufen hoch zur teilweise überdachten Terasse und haben uns direkt einen Tisch mit Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesucht. Die Terasse und das Gebäude ist hauptsächlich mit Holz versehen und macht einen guten Eindruck. Die Holztische waren alle mit einem weißen Stoffläufer bzw. einer länglichen weißen Tischdeckenläufer mittig eingedeckt sowie mit dem einfachen Pfeffer Salzstreuer versehen. Das Lokal sah von Innen auch sehr gepflegt und gut aus, allerdings wirkte es innen etwas dunkel. Die Toiletten waren auch sehr sauber (wurden aber nur von meinen beiden Begleitungen besucht . Zum Lokal gehört wohl auch noch eine Weinstube mit 50 Sitzplätzen. Bedienung Bestellung: Nachdem wir bereits ca. 4 Minuten saßen, kam ein recht netter Kellner und begrüßte uns und reichte uns die Speisekarten, welche ausgefaltet eigentlich aus zwei DIN A3 Seiten bestand. Auf der Speisekarte befanden sich ein paar Suppen, Salate, kleine Köstlichkeiten, Beilagen, vier vegetarische Gerichte, einige Steaks, 12 Rustikale internationale Gerichte, vier Fischgerichte, 5 kroatische Grillgerichte, 3 verschiedene Schlemmerplatten ab 2 Personen, sowie ein paar Kindergerichte. Weiterhin sind am Ende 13 mögliche Zusatzstoffe angegeben. Der Kellner hätte eigentlich 4 Sterne verdient, doch eine Aussage von ihm (dazu später mehr ließ es mich auf nur 3 Sterne abrunden. Bestellt wurden 1 Bier 0,4l für 3,40€ und 2 Radler Alster 0,4l für je 3,40€. In der Karte war keine Biermarke angegeben, auf den Gläsern stand Ganter drauf. Die Getränke wurden in Windeseile gut temperiert serviert. Der Kellner war auch nicht Wortkarg und gesprächig. Bestellt wurden 2x Cevapcici für 9,90€, davon 1x ohne Djuwetschreis und für die Dame 1x Gutsherrenschnitzel für 11,90€. Eine Umbestellung beim Salat war kein Problem und wurde zu unserer Zufriedenheit auch ausgeführt. Der Salat wurde schnell serviert und bestand hauptsächlich aus grünen Salat, Karotten Tomate usw. Das Dressing, eine Art Kräuterdressing war sehr lecker und mit Zwiebeln verfeinert. Wenn es nicht selbstgemacht wurde, wurde es auf jedenfall noch verfeinert und hat uns allen gut geschmeckt. Im Hintergrund hörte man aus der Küche, wie das Schnitzel geklopft wurde. Essen: Der Salat wie oben schon beschrieben und nach recht kurzer Wartezeit wurden bereits unsere Hauptspeisen serviert. Dazu gab es einen Kelch mit frischen flüssigen Knoblauch und einen Kelch mit einer Art Zigeunersauce (kein Ajvar . Die Cevapcici Teller waren von den Portionen recht übersichtlich. Es gab jeweils 6 absolut identisch aussehende recht kleine aber doch noch schmackhafte Cevapcici, mit angenehmer Knofinote (ich gehe hier mal sehr sehr stark von TK Ware aus , Pommes Frites mit bunten Pommessalz, die noch locker 2 Minuten gebraucht hätten diese waren noch sehr schlaff (das kann auch dadurch entstehen, wenn das Öl in der Friteuse noch nicht heiß genug ist und bei mir leckerer, heißer und nicht verkochter Djuwetschreis. Die Menge Pommes Frites bei dem Teller ohne dem Djuwetschreis war nicht wirklich größer. Rohe Zwiebeln fehlanzeige. Das Gutsherrenschnitzel wurde in der Speisekarte als knuspriges Schweineschnitzel mit Champignons in Rahmsauce mit Bratkartoffeln bezeichnet. Das Schnitzel mit der Sauce hatte eine normale Größe und hat der Dame in unserer Runde recht gut geschmeckt. Die Bratkartoffeln mit Speck waren auch sehr laff ihrer Meinung nach könnten diese eventuell in der Mikrowelle erhitzt worden sein. Mit viel Wohlwollen und auf Grund des frischen Salat habe ich es beim Essen mal großzügig auf 2,5 Sterne aufgerundet. Wirklich satt war keiner von uns, so das für einen Nachtisch noch woanders in der Umgebung ein kurzfristiger Halt eingelegt wurde. Der Kellner fragte beim Abräumen ob es uns geschmeckt hätte. Als mein Bekannter ihm sagte, dass die Pommes Frites etwas laff waren und noch etwas gebraucht hätten, kam die Antwort: Einigen Gästen sind diese zu kross und anderen halt zu laff und ging mit den Tellern weg. Kritik darf hier nicht geäußert werden. Somit auch hier leider nur noch sehr großzügige 3 Sterne für die Bedienung. Die Rechnung wurde uns dann auch schnell gebracht. Einen typischen Absacker gab es dann leider auch nicht mehr (ob es an der Kritik lag ??? . Man wünschte uns noch einen schönen Sonntag und eine gute Heimfahrt. Fazit: Man konnte es essen, aber wir haben uns schon etwas Anderes unter den Speisen vorgestellt und erwartet. Extra dafür von der Autobahn abfahren würden wir aber bestimmt nicht, somit wird es auch keinen Folgebesuch von uns mehr geben.
