Odyssey On The Strand - Magnetic Island

My wife and I have been to Odyssey several times. The service is always good, sometimes better than good. The food that we have had there has always been excellent - the steaks are superb. We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner there on various occassions, and have always left satisfied - and full of good eats.Most recently we had lunch - steak sandwiches. The steak is locally sourced from a well knownbutcher who sells quality meat (I have purchased from that butcher myself!), on the odd occassion there is an issue, (no place is perfect), they have an immediate replacement policy. The owner/manager actually works the floor along with the wait staff - and is a very pleasant person.

This place is at the end of The Strand away from all the other eateries but it's the best! A beautiful breakfast, made to order and the BEST Chai latte

Drop into the café this morning as I did on many occasions and as usual the food, coffee and service was excellent. Had the French toast seen as on the photo and can highly recommend it. I had many variations in different cafes and can honestly say that was the best.

The greeting and the happy service you receive at Odyssey set the tone for a relaxed, pleasant breakfast. The happy young waiter met us at our table with water and glasses. Our breakfast of pancakes and coffee came fast and were of their usual excellent standard.
