Odyssey On the Strand - Magnetic Island

Picked up our race packs for the Townsville Running Festival and stopped in to load up on chips! Can't usually justify the fried food, but, 42km is a good excuse!

Incredibly slow service - waited ages for service, then another 20 mins for coffee. Hard to find bananas in our pancakes. The customer should have your best service every day, every time irrespective of your previous busy trade- that's an internal issue, not mine.

Hard to recommend any one dish. There is such a great range of authentic Greek choices including Greek coffee and desserts. Great service and a nice outlook across to Magnetic Island

I am a local who also works in the hospitality industry. I have frequented this beautiful spot so often and I've always forgotten to leave a review. Service is spot on. Weekends are generally very busy. I can understand a delay but during the week (when I usually have gone) I find it very quick. Food always fresh, beautifully cooked and decent serves. All staff members are genuinely friendly. I especially love the warm family feeling I get when ever I get a chance to have a chat to who I believe to be the owners. Thanks so much guys.

Meals have been generally good with a variety selection however meals sometimes have arrived cold and the wait times for your meals have always been generally a wait anywhere from 30-45mins. They should inform people of the wait times.
