Le seul lieu de réunion en magnano. idéalement situé dans le centre du village

Ho soggiornato alla locanda passando per il viaggio di Horopa. personale disponibile e molto bello. ottimo cibo con il menu del pellegrino comunque abbondante. le camere erano pulite e con tutti i comfort necessari.

Locanda borgo antico is a small gem of a restaurant looking at a pretty place in the attractive small town magnano, in the foothills of the Italian alps. elisa works in the kitchen and her man stefano helps diners navigate the menu. and serves the dishes. the gas house offers them a laborious cooking in a cozy room, a flight of stone steps, directly above a cozy bar. we ordered Russian salad as an appetizer, followed by a large plate of coarsely cut gnocchi with a rich meat sauce. next was grilled trout, washed by ruche, a fine but little known piedmontese wine. our Italian host, antonia and carlo, my wife paloma and I all rounded the meal with generous helpers of blueberry cake. service was efficient and very friendly. highly recommended and a divertible.

A little disappointing, I asked him for a sandwich with vegetables......they didn't have vegetables, not even a tomato, they made do by putting a giardiniera (good) in the sandwich

You know when you stay somewhere and think, These people really know how to do their job! When you feel welcomed and pampered, but without feeling asphyxiated by too much attention, when the details are taken care of but in a homely way enough to make you feel at ease, as if you had always lived in that room, as if you had always had dinner in that cuisine, good but not pretentious, as if your mother had prepared that dinner. I stayed at the Borgo Antico during the Cammino di Oropa and I really recommend it!
