Ich statte dem Restaurant Elbdampfer regelmässig einen Besuch ab und das aus folgenden Gründen: Besonders erwähnenswert ist das sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal mit tadelloser Bewirtung. Allein das ist ein Grund hier Essen zu gehen. Nachfragen zum Essen sind keineswegs Floskeln, sondern es besteht ehrliches Interesse am Feedback des Gastes. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist sehr angenehm. Regelmäßig wechselnde Karte mit immer neuen Ideen und Gerichten. Die Speisen werden zügig zubereitet, haben eine perfekte Temperatur und sind optisch immer wieder ein Appetit anregender Anblick. Das Menü ist vielfältig, die Gerichte schmecken ausgezeichnet. Die Summe all dieser Erfahrungen, nicht nur einmal, sondern regelmässig über Jahre, mündet in einer Empfehlung dem Restaurant Elbdampfer einen Besuch abzustatten. In jeder Hinsicht ein Genuss!

Leckeres Essen und nettes Personal!

The food was good and delicious. The service very friendly. Breakfast was rich and tasty

Family celebration with 15 people was a single Fiasko. Guests who stayed at the hotel had to pay their own room on arrival, although it was agreed that the host took it! Celebration should begin at 3 p.m., you stood in front of closed doors! Guests had to take care of their drinks themselves, as the service left to be desired! Promises as the evening has to run have not been respected! Coffeeware was removed from MIR and put on a side table! Food and drink order were written by the guests on Zetteln and delivered at the service, as the service was unable to look at our table! I had to point out the service that, before the food comes, we wish cutlery and drinks, salt and pepper had to be taken care of again. Menu reduced to a minimum compared to 2.5 years ago. Food was otherwise tasty, only those who eat a little more will not be fed, as the plates were made very economical. A tip to the service... please don't clean the plates as long as not all guests are ready to eat, as the guests who still eat feel crowded to be ready! After I pointed out the service, the remaining plates were simply left standing. She had to clean up the side table again! Service incompetent, not able to ask for drinks. Conclusion: Next family celebration is NOT guaranteed there!

The ambience is very nice, the service is very friendly but the cook should consider whether he has chosen the right profession. I had ordered ducks with green cabbages and lumps. Apart from the fact that Sauce is apparently not included there, but had to be ordered extra, the actual duck was the purest catastrophe. Instead of a beautiful crispy skin I really enjoyed it, it was very pale and disgusting. The meat itself was very tough and dry. I will definitely never go back to dinner and can't recommend it to anyone.
