I've been to Emacite's restaurant for dinner with some friends from work. We were spending some days in Mafra and this place was recommended by locals.It is one of the only choices for having dinner on Mondays.The menu was not very vast but the food was cooked nicely, flavorful seasoning and sauce for my pasta dish.The restaurant is just downstairs of Emacite Hotel but it is not hotel guest-only. Open to the public, there were plenty of people for a regular Monday.

Many trips I make it through the countryside of Brazil one has to put up with third rate restaurants and even worse hotels. This hotel as well as the restaurant is perfectly adequate for a fair price. Food is tasty though more a homestyle then high cuisine.
