Bidrage med feedbackI stumbled upon this restaurant for dinner, thinking they were closed at 6 o'clock. The owner was concerned that the dishes, rice, and soup wouldn't taste good because they were served cold instead of hot. She was very sweet and kind. She urged me to come back the next day, but I decided to stay and I'm glad I did. The restaurant had a limited selection of dishes in the buffet, but everything was fresh and healthy. The view of the busy intersection in this bustling part of the city was fascinating. The chalkboard sign had English translations and the owner spoke happily in Thai. I have been living down the road for a year, and I believe they are vegan. It's a lovely family-run operation that some say is the best in the city.
If you're looking for Vegan options near the northern border with Myanmar, you may have some difficulty. However, this restaurant stands out as a rare find in the area, despite its somewhat unassuming appearance. It proudly displays the Vegan symbol on its yellow sign, making it a beacon for plant-based eaters. While it may be a small, hole-in-the-wall establishment like many others, the menu offerings are delightful. The friendly young man working there was welcoming and even let me sample a variety of sauces. To top it off, he brought out a complimentary plate of fried vegetables. While it may not be a high-end dining experience, if you're in need of Vegan options, this is the place to go!
I stumbled upon this restaurant just before they closed for the evening around 6pm while searching for YG nearby. The owner, a kind lady, jokingly warned me that the dishes, rice, and soup might not be as tasty because they were cold instead of hot. She urged me to return the next day, but I decided to dine there that night and I'm glad I did. The restaurant was unassuming, but the buffet had a limited selection at that time of day, all of which were healthy and fresh. The restaurant offered a nice view of a busy intersection in a lively part of town near the border crossing. There was English on the chalkboard sign, and the owner happily repeated herself in Thai. I lived across the street from this place for a year, and I believe they are vegan. It is a lovely, family-run establishment that some consider the best in town. (Review updated on 2021-03-05)
