Unassuming local bar/restaurant near Tetuan metro. At the front is a fishmongers display of the fish on ice. Ordered a beer and you get some great bread and a small plate of sardines while you order. A slide of grilled hake cam with some boiled potatoes, and a mixed salad had tuna and asparagus alongside the lettuce and tomato. The fish was the freshest I have had and was perfectly cooked. All for a bargain price of E20.

We were having a stroll on Saturday evening, plan to have a couple of beers, sat outside what we thought was a small snack bar, ordered a beer then noticed when the beer came the tapas with it was squid, octopus and tomatoes in a nice dressing. There was a board outside saying what was on the menu, I was very interested when I saw there were oysters on the board, unfortunately they had sold the last, I went inside to see what they had, and to my delight they had some beautiful small scallops so we had 6 of those along with 6 king prawns, grilled in garlic and salt, the food was delightful, some of the best scallops we have eaten. washed down by a nice dry white wine
