Poor service. Menu in English was old and new menu was available only in Spanish. We waited for shampain 45 min, though we ordered it for aperitif. Food was good.
A magnificent modern Spanish meal for our last taste of Madrid Restaurante Haroma -Heritage Madrid Hotel in the classy Salamanca district. The menu offers an innovative approach combining Spanish and Asian flavours with great balance and effect. True to the ground breaking style that has emerged amongst today’s Spanish chefs and especially the vibrant food scene here in Madrid. My selection of Autumn Mushrooms with Foie and Truffle presented with a bright yellow yolk that added a luxurious touch to the earthy mushrooms perfumed with freshly shaved truffle. The octopus dish, a modern take on Galician Octopus with potato, was truly the best I have had in Spain and beyond. A plump and juicy giant tentacle, slowly cooked to softness and then charred for flavour, it was served with wasabi mayonnaise and was butter soft under my knife. The setting and the service is beyond par, with that characteristic Spanish warmth, and definitely a high end experience at all levels. The restaurant offers a great value lunch set menu and an exciting dinner tasting menu for that full experience, as well as a la carte. Muy deliciosa!
