Comarca De Aliste - Madrid

Stopped in Novotel above Cold called We wanted tapas didn’t have it in the menu however there was a guy waiter who spoke English so we enquired if they could do a tapes selection for 4 WOW salad, squid , steak, potatoes all amazing 5* They really made an impression and deserve a visit Totally Spanish, very welcoming and I was expecting a bill of €300 €130 for 4 amazing!!

Found this amazing little place after looking online as i wanted a good steak , and I wasn’t disappointed. And you always know a place is good when it’s small and locals are there. The young man who served me was lovely and very helpful with recommending a fillet steak with peppercorn sauce. I also had scallops for starter which were beautiful. The steak however was absolutely amazing ! Perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth . There are larger places around but if you want low key , coszy, but excellent service and amazing steak at a reasonable price , visit here ! I spent about €50 on starter , steak, and 2 glasses of Rioja and it was well Worth it . Would highly recommend.

The restaurant was close to our hotel. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. Place to visit when in Madrid.

Ayer cenamos allí y estuvo bien todo. Lo que no estoy de acuerdo y me molestó es que cobren 8 euros en concepto de pan y aperitivos . Siempre, el aperitivo es una opción de ponerlo o no ponerlo por parte del restaurante, pero NUNCA cobrarlo cuando además no se ha pedido. Una pena.

Las raciones son generosas, el servicio amable, pero la cocina fue extremadamente lenta, además hubo platos que salieron poco hechos. Se notaba que la cocina no daba abasto. Por lo demás bien.
