Bidrage med feedbackOn a roasting hot afternoon with temperatures hitting 107 degrees Fahrenheit my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into Cruz Blanca, been here before on previous holidays to Madrid, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this bar, interior is superb, traditional, a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside, its a great bar to chill out in. We sat outside were we ordered pints of Mahou red beer, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and soaked up the sun while we sipped our beers. A big fan of this famous beer from the Madrid region of Spain, a light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink, when served iced cold as in this bar its just a really good beer indeed, it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother Stephen, best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. This Cerveceria Cruz Blanca is easy to locate along Calle Hortaleza. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 9am till 11pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
This place wasn’t far from our hotel and after stumbling upon it once for drinks, we came back again the next day for food too. It is a popular place with the locals as it was full while the place next door was empty. Good service, good food, good drinks. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended!
We ate here twice at our stay in Madrid.Great place,Tasty local Spanish food , great staff and reasonable prices. We did my son ` s birthday here one night : thanks guys for everything!Absolute reccommondation!
We came to Madrid to experience the real Spanish way of life and we visited some great bars and cafes and Cerveceria Cruz Blanca was one of the best we went to . Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, a fantastic authentic interior with beautiful and colourful tiling,an eye catching serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, it's a really fine bar and one I am so glad we visited. We were pub and bar hopping around the vibrant and eclectic Chueca neighbourhood on a Monday night when we dropped into here ,we were greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who took our order of a couple of beers, we opted to have that most Spanish of beers namely Cruzcampo beer, these were served iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in,our beers were delicious, I really enjoy Cruzcampo beer, it's a nice light and hoppy beer and very easy to drink and a beer style I really enjoy, our beers were served with a big bowl of crisps which went so well with our beers and were much appreciated. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer before we moved on for a first time visit we were very impressed with this great bar. Cerveceria Cruz Blanca is really easy to locate on Calle Hortazela on Plaza De Santa Barbara and in the Chueca neighbourhood which is an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants . Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday 8am till 2am. A great bar and well worth checking out.
Good tipical place with outdoor service that offers a fast service for those who are walking by. We had a late breakfast and the price was reasonable.
