Mckenzie Barbeque - Madisonville

First time we stopped at McKenzie BBQ, hands down, that was some dang good BBQ. Lisa McKenzie was so down to earth friendly. Glad she told of a location near our home in the Woodlands.

The hamburger buns were smashed the tomato and onion were cut to thick and the hambuger itself tasted terrible and the price was way too high I'll never go back there again

The food tastes just as good as I remember. I used to eat here a lot when I was a student at SHSU, and they even catered my wedding. We were in town for a game and decided to stop by for a meal. The flavors brought back memories of my time at the restaurant.

This restaurant is definitely not the best when it comes to flavorful smoked meats. It seems like they were boiled in water instead of being properly smoked. Overall, a horrible experience. I'll give it 2 stars only because the sausage was somewhat decent. Save yourself the trouble and money by avoiding this place.
