Burgers Blues Barbecue Madison

Four of us recently visited Burgers Blues Barbecue in Madison for a taste of southern BBQ. We have explored many BBQ restaurants in our quest for the perfect brisket, and we found that sometimes the smaller establishments offer the best. Burgers Blues Barbecue was a prime example of this. The brisket sandwich we tried was exceptional, and the baked beans were the best I have ever had. I opted for the brisket sandwich on sourdough bread, which was soft and complemented the meat perfectly. The addition of cole slaw to the sandwich gave it an exceptional flavor.

We do not regret getting off of I-55 in Madison to eat here. It is very much worth it!The brisket was the best I have ever had and the same could be said for the pulled pork nachos.There were so many menu items we wanted to try that we will have to stop in again next time we are passing through.

I ordered Buffalo chicken fries. The Buffalo Chicken fries was lacking the Buffalo sauce. Chicken was dry. I also ordered the brisket plate with mac n cheese, broccoli, and sweet potato fries. The Mac N Cheese was too salty. The brisket was smothered in bbq sauce in order to mask the bland taste of the brisket. The sweet potato fries and broccoli were the best part. Overpriced and Very disappointing.

My husband and I had breakfast at this restaurant twice while we were in the area a couple of weeks ago. The first day, everything was perfect - perfectly cooked eggs, bacon, and biscuits. However, the second day (with a different chef), I decided to try the waffles and they tasted like they had been pre-cooked and reheated. They were lukewarm, not appetizing at all, and very chewy. I informed the waitress about my disappointment and while she offered something else or a credit for our next visit, we were in a hurry and had to leave. It's surprising that with so many waffle options on the menu, they couldn't cook them fresh. Overall, my husband's meals were okay.

My wife got the wrong order, but she was alright with that. Was going to brush the toppings off and add what we had at home. Opened up her burger and there was plastic inside of the burger.Usually they are pretty good, but they dropped the ball twice. I don’t know why so many people have left good reviews, I’ve given this place a couple of chances, but they mess it up and drop the ball every time.Over pricedFood is mid qualityUsually cooks it fast (because there are hardly any customers)
