Bidrage med feedbackTried this restaurant by chance on my way north from LA. Very clean and bright. He building stands alone in an industrial area really. The staff was really polite and happy. Wife had tacos and I had flautas--both were really good. The flauta pastry was fresh and flaky, not oily or rubbery. Meat is excellent. Beans were really flavorful. Top notch and I am making a point of making this place a lunch stop every time I travel Hwy 99.
Look at my reviews. This may be my only one star review! The food tastes like school food. It had slop texture. The drink tasted like mildew. I am assuming it 's in their ice. I asked for a drink with no ice. She refused. The decor is obnoxious bright tacky. This looks like a three ring circus and smells like the animal cage at the zoo.
Tacos are good!! Service however is awful. The lunch truck is even worse, the lady at the window Is super rude and snobby. She literally handles money and turns around and puts the fixings on the tacos without washing or putting on gloves. After putting up with her bad service for years now I will not put up with un safe food handling BTW she has really long acrylic nails which are a recipe food food poisoning or worse..
Food is watery and beans seemed a little old, but customer service is AWFUL! We spent over $100 on lunch ordered 5 plates and were given 2 small containers (maybe an inch in diameter) of salsa one green and one red. When I asked the server for more, she said we would have to ask the woman at register. I went up and asked for salsa and the female (who happens to be daughter of the owner) said I will be required to pay .50 per additional container. I asked her why I didn 't at least get one salsa per plate being that I had 5 plates.... her response was I don 't believe that, they 're probably on the side of plate. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I will never return nor recommend this restaurant.
Tried ordering from this place today n the lady was so rude. My mom wanted a burrito with jalapenos in it and the lady said she could not add Jalapenos inside. I thought that was odd. Next my wife ordered a burrito of Carne Asada but asked them to not put beans n rice in it since she doesnt eat that. Just wanted sour cream veggies n guac. The lady said she could not sell me a burrito with no rice n beans. My wife never asked for more meat n we totally understand the burrito would be much smaller n we wouldve been fine with that. But the lady just had so much attitude that we didnt bother, we just left.
