Bidrage med feedbackFirst time diners 2 of us ate here on sunday night.First off cold water and complimentary poppadums with mint chutney and tamarind sauces...a good start. We were the only diners.. which doesn't faze us...but quite a few takeaways going out.Great service, very friendly, and food was good.Beef masala..tender beef, crisp capsicum chunks and thin slices of ginger. Yum.Prawn korma..8 good size prawns in a nice creamy sauce.Rice and a garlic naan plus corkage...$51 A bargain. (Would have given it four and a half if we could!).Going back...yes, for sure.
We have dined at Indian Village Restaurant a few times because the food is good and all the staff are really fantastic. Our last visit here was with our extended family (10 people) and the buffet works well offering a variety of food to suit each ones preferences. I really enjoyed the goat curry. The only downside is the dated interior, but the fantastic food and friendly staff easily makes up for this.
Indian Village restaurant blows away the competition, their Curries are Fragrant, wonderfully spicy and flavoursome and the meat perfectly tender. At $29.50 per person for Friday night Buffet it's great value .
Without even realising my partner and I have been ordering from here at least once a week for the past 6months or so. In saying that I thought I should write a review! A+ absolutely amazing food. Never had a bad curry. My boyfriend always has the butter chicken, rice and naan and it has never disappointed. I love the fish curries and Dahl, I'm not vegetarian but these are delicious. Only one critique I have is sometimes there isn't a lot of meat/fish but lots of sauce in the curries- I think it depends of the chef. Will definitely keep on with our weekly tradition.
Ordered butter chicken beef vindaloo lamb rogan josh naan bread and saffron rice ..Omg the best curries ever . Great serves too.plenty of sauce . Loved it enjoyed it very much . My favourite now .
