Churros Rellenos

No se comparan con los que venden en el malecón. Aquí los de cajeta son los tradicionales y están deliciosos.

Freshly made in front of you and great taste! They have 3 different prices and are friendly. We shared the 4 dollar bag between 2 people and it was plenty!

We were looking all day for Thrifty Ice Cream and finally found it. On the way out, after getting my fav flav, my wife points out Churros Rellenos across the street. Dang, I just got ice cream. But since we were on vacation, a few more extra post holiday calories wouldn't hurt, right? The churros were your typical, fresh churros, except that you could get them stuffed with caramel, strawberry, sour cream or chocolate syrup. The concept is great, but the overflowing stuffing is really limited to the top. There were parts of the middle that had little to no stuffing, which was a disappointment. But, for the US$2.00, it was fair and something I'd get again, if not for me, for my kids just because it's different.

Have to say this is the best late night snack! After having a few drinks just walk over to this simple window and order a stuffed churro! They are hot, fresh, soft, and filled with your choice of strawberry, chocolate, or caramel!
