Tropical Flava - Macon

Great food, great staff, great atmosphere! Highly recommend!!! Felt like I was on vacation. Jerk chicken was amazing. I will be returning!!!!

Delicious Flavorful Heaven!. My boyfriend and I went there yesterday and were seriously blown away! I will admit at first we were a little worried that we were underdressed. The tables are covered in white plastic linens and huge purple flower pieces. I honestly wasn't a huge fan of the decor, but I'm not a purple person either, my boyfriend didn't mind it. Our server, I wish I could remember her name, was honestly one of the best I've ever had and I manage in hospitality. She was extremely friendly, knowledgable of the menu, and was very attentive. My boyfriend got the two meats brown stew chicken and oxtails. I got the jerk tofu, and an extra side of mac-n-cheese. It's so rare to find a new restaurant with this caliber of food here in Macon! It's so nice having a new place to go and eat amazing food. Especially if you're a vegetarian! Vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike will absolutely LOVE this place. Try some of the fresh juices, they're a little sweet but all in all absolutely delicious.

A perfect meal. Visited earlier this month while traveling through town. Urbanspoon had good ratings so we thought we'd give it a try. It was divine. The jerk chicken had a spicy sauce that was subtle but full of flavor. Fried plantains were a treat! The service was excellent. Not in the best area, but totally worth stopping for.
