Los Arcos - Macon

This restaurant fell short of expectations. Our large group arrived for dinner, but there was only one staff member managing both the hostess and serving duties, and she appeared to be having a rough day, as she barely smiled or engaged with us. The restaurant was uncomfortably cold, which was disappointing given the chilly December weather. While some in our group enjoyed their burrito bowls, I ordered enchiladas, which arrived twenty minutes after everyone else’s meals and were icy cold (the cheese inside was far from melted). I won’t be coming back to this restaurant.

The service at this restaurant leaves a bit to be desired, but the food is quite enjoyable. The Sunday lunch buffet is decent, although I wish there was a wider selection. Overall, it’s not a bad place to dine.

Terrible. This is the worst Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. I ordered a margarita that was fizzy, almost like it came from a can—I'm convinced it was a lime-a-Rita. Then, when the chips and salsa arrived, the chips were stale and the salsa was so bland it tasted like it came from a jar. There were no options for ordering a single chimichanga, so I had to order a dinner plate, which was just mediocre at best. I was ready to leave, but the waitress took an eternity—twenty minutes—to bring us our bill! The food was awful, and the service was worse. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.

The service is outstanding, and the food is consistently fantastic.

I took the time to locate this restaurant on Google Earth, and I believe I have the right address. It came highly recommended by a local. Since it’s in the countryside, there’s plenty of parking available. We arrived around noon, and the place was not busy at all. The waiter was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Mexican Salad, which was excellent, and my wife had a Chili Relleno, also outstanding. The other members of our party ordered Fajitas and a Vegetarian Burrito, both of which were top-notch as well. The complimentary chips were plentiful and served warm. The restrooms were clean, and the Mexican music playing was at just the right volume—thank you for that! Our drinks arrived promptly and were served correctly.
