Bidrage med feedbackFriendly and comfortable environment with good food and drink. A nice place to bring out of town guests. They have good chefs, so we’d like to see a few more entree selections to the menu.
We were seated in a former tack room of the renovated home. The service was very attentive and welcoming. Our waitress was very busy but one of the owners continually checked on us to ensure our experience was wonderful. The drinks were delicious. I had the Blueberry Buzz which I highly recommend! The main course was delicious and desserts were incredible!! The best blueberry ginger ice cream I have found and the Pavlova was like a sweet strawberry cloud. So light and amazing with the roasted rhubarb on top.
What a find! The food and drinks are incredibly inventive and the staff was wonderful! The desserts were off the charts—we loved them so much that one person in our party of 4 got a second dessert and we all shared it—it was a blueberry crumble that was served with blueberry-ginger ice cream (they were out of vanilla). Such a treat! The seafood chowder was the best I’ve had anywhere—and I’ve had many versions over the years. This is not your average brew-pub. Not to be missed!
We enjoyed our Anniversary dinner. Our server was very personable and helpful as to the menu options. The quantities and quality of our food was outstanding. We had the 4 4oz sampler cider/ale, spicy house pickles and a Blueberry Buzz cocktail to complement our Lobster Mac n Cheese and Chicken Pot Pie made from scratch and pleasantly seasoned, finished up with house ice cream and rhubarb/strawberry pavlova. Great addition to dining options in DownEast.
Second visit which we enjoyed. Menu changed a bit which was nice. Hope they can develop it even more. Looking forward to returning next summer.
