Palace - MACERATA

Me and my boyfriend were quite excited to dine here for the Valentines day occasion and we booked it. It was understandably crowded so we could book for 10 pm. We didn’t mind we went there and no one greeted us we had to go to the bar and ask them if we could sit because we’ve had booked the place. Finally after 10 minutes standing they made us sit in front of the kitchen door. And they didn’t come to take our orders so long we had to call them again insistently. After we ordered finally the food came it was like 11 pm and we were starving, and they neither brought it at the same moment mine came first and my boyfriend’s came after I finished and the burgers we ordered were almost burnt. Neither the food was good. We never went there again. I regret to go there in our most special day. The only good thing is the location that’s all.

We spotted this restaurant walking on the street around the city as they have a roof top terrace that can give you a view across the mountains. Though the tables are not necessarily given the view, the chance to dine outside is great and you can watch the swallows flying in the evening. It is spectacular because they nest in the rooftops. One of the only places you can get large glasses (liter) of beer and the pizzas have a super thin base. I've been here three times and evening we ate was delicious.

I love pizza there, also price of pizza is good. I liked to sit outside from where is nice view for avenue : I didnt like plastic furnitures outside. Service seemed not to notice us for a long time, maybe they were afrid of tourists..

We had really bad experience today with this place. Actually place was really nice but there was just that waiter was rude to us from the taking order until the payment! Responded all of our questions and asks rudely. I can say that his acting was more royalist than the king! If you really really want to go there you have to be prepared that! Also order is coming too late. I mean you can finish your order but your friend may has to wait to eat cause orders are not coming at the same time! and if you ask where is this order that waiter may act like it is your fault! and don't even apologize!

Peccato per la lunga attesa, ma pizza molto buona. ottimo e fresco buon servizio e tiramisù con la noceella molto buona, anche se più biscotti potrebbero essere aggiunti, comunque davvero buona la tabella fuori molto romantico
