Jolly Joes Cafe - Mableton

I have gone here all my life! Its a treat to eat here with my family! There's nothing bad to eat here! My favorite is the Chicken Gyro with extra sauce. All the food is delicious!!

Some dishes are better than others. I personally do not care for their pizza and I don't like the Lasagna due to the flavor of the sauce. However, they have two sandwiches that are excellent. Those are the Philly Cheese Steak and the Lamb Euro! There is always a few people there, but it's never crowded, always peaceful, and you never have to wait. Food prices are reasonable too.

I came in ordered some fry's and a tea sat down to charge for minute. Jane comes around the corner and says I don't mind you coming in to eat but you can't be here all day all night. I hadn't planned on staying just wanted a bite and to charge a second. Instead of assuming I'm gonna sit all day try hello. It's rude to speak to a paying customer about how long they going to sit... yes I used to work here and now a customer.. so quick to rush a customer out the door...

I really like visiting hole in the wall restaurants and finding local food off the beaten path, but this place was a bummer. Maybe we didn't show up at a good time since the restaurant was nearly empty well before lunchtime. The fried mushroom breading was fine but the inside was really wet so I suspect the mushrooms came from a can. Also I tried the philly cheese steak with cream cheese but the cook didn't seem to know how to properly construct it. They didn't melt the cheese into the meat but spread it over the bread like a bagel and not evenly. So the meat was good and hot but sitting on pockets of cold cheese.

First time tonight january 2020. The spaghetti and lasagna is SO GOOD! My son is a picky eater and he really loved the spaghetti. Also the gyro lamb is really good too. I would highly reccomend if you like good tasting food!
