Sofa Sounds Fantastic Maastricht

This restaurant is beautifully located outside of maastricht, along the maas, at the marina. a small weinberg and beautiful landscape design make the beautiful landscape finish. the menu is not too extensive, but offers the choice of fish, meat and vegetarian food in French style. I was particularly impressed by our salmon starter. the tastes were amazing and we love salmonashimi. the main course was also well prepared, both the gay and the tender. both the starter and the net parts were nicely plated. dessert was also excellent. the staff is friendly and helpful. expect to wait 20min between the curses. the prices are somewhat above the average for maastricht, but their 3 course set menu is very friendly. expect them to spend a little over 100 for a complete meal for 2 people, depending on their drinking habits naturally.

With 5 people everyone was very satisfied. good service, good food. beautiful place, beautiful location.

The sofa restaurant is located on the beautiful grounds of kasteel de hooghenweert, but not part of the same business group as the hotel. the sofa restaurant has beautiful settings, both in the open and in the interior. it is a true pleasure to spend here on dry summer afternoons and evenings. one day we had lunch and the next dinner in the outside area of the restaurant. many people on both days, mix of local and tourist, and they could say that the people were here on the go. Eating and crying we tried was delicious. service very attentive, professional, pleasantly informal. I would highly recommend this restaurant if in the region maastricht – aachen – lie and a small reroute planning.

An excellent family-friendly restaurant serving amazing food. The staff is very friendly. One thing we disliked is too much physical contact from a waiter like a pat on the back or touching a baby's face; this should not be allowed and especially not amidst a global pandemic. All in all, we were very happy and will be coming back.

This is one of the best restaurants I have visited in the previous period. it is beautifully located in an isolated facing near maastricht. at the arrival the employees welcomed us and offered the home cocktail (balon 43,) which really tasted good. we took the 3-course menu with cheese as desert. we asked if there is a possibility to get the steaktartar as a starter. the waitress could not promise, but would try. we received a delicious steak tartar. also the main course of the meat was excellent. all in all, this diner outside was only excellent and the staff contributed to it. will be back! ps the vintage tawny harbour of croft is absolutely recommended with the cheese.
