Railhead Cafe - Lytle

I was in town, so I looked at reviews for restaurants and stumbled on this jewel! The food was very delicious. We had burgers who made my son's appetite! The onion ring was the best I had for a long time!! Will definitely come back!

Love this place! The best catfish I had since the move to San Antonio, and the staff is great. The sweet tea and peach is perfect... I couldn't say enough great things about this place.

The owners are incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding. You must try the naked fried catfish—it's free of breading and incredibly delicious, with perfect seasoning and no grease! The onion rings are also fantastic. They have a nice selection of cold beers. I loved my experience and will definitely be returning!

Amazing place to eat, large portions you won't leave hungry, food is prepped and cooked fresh to order, even a few homemade recipes like their chili, no pre battered frozen foods, definitely have to ask for their homemade desserts. There's a bar side to which has great drinks and stays open until like 1 am. The staff and owners are great and attentive. I've started eating here on a regular basis because I feel like I'm at grandma's kitchen table you can't beat the feel of the environment and the great tasting food, by now I think I've had about everything on the menu and I haven't been disappointed yet.

Great food, I'm from SE Louisiana, so I'm picky with seafood. The fried fish and the fried shrimp were great. And the red beans and rice. Kenneth, our server never let us need anything.
