Chez Chabert - Lyon

Had a great authentic Lyonnaise dinner here with the set menu. Everything but the entrée is served family style, with the dishes passed between tables. There was plenty to try including a lot of dishes you made not have had before. There were at least 10 different entrees available including a flank steak, chicken in cream sauce, and several fish dishes.

It Is supposed to be a traditional bouchon. It Is located in the vieux Lyon and then some colleagues from lyon told me It Is not a food area to have dinner. We paid about 30 euro each for entree, main dish and dessert. Entree and dessert are served in big bowls that go from One table to another, you can have all the food you want buy the problem is that you Will not want It! It was terribile: pig nose, veal foot for entree, plums and egg White for dessert. The main dish was ok But i Will never come back here!

But what is this fairytale place!!! Quality Lyon cuisine, gargantuesque and with a great and very nice waiter. To be strongly recommended

For tourists, but atmosphere and nice cuisine. Toilette=limit when, in other words, groups land!
